Nomenclatural Synonyms:
Synonymy Notes: Dyer & Verdoorn (1966) treated it as a synonym of E. lehmannii, but the illustration does not match the eophyll of this species. It has some resemblance to the eophylls of E. hildebrandtii but we are treating here as a nomen dubium as the description was based on a juvenile leaf and not enough diagnostic characters were provided in the description or illustration to be sure.
